Metamorphosis Show

With an extensive background building sculpture from recycled material, Pip raised funding from the European Green Capital award to develop a celebratory show called Metamorphosis. The uplifting contemporary performance followed themes of transformation in nature, human behaviour, and technology.

These concepts not only resonated through the use of 50 tonnes of recycled machinery for the performance structure, but also via the development of a new flame system, fuelled by recycled vegetable oil, all of which was locally sourced from Bristol’s finest fish and chip shops.

The show welcomed over 50,000 audience members (per night) to witness a performance at Glastonbury Festival as well as two independently promoted sell-out events in central Bristol and London.
